Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for a challenging role where you can utilize your experience and skills? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Tech to join our team on the 3rd shiftThis role involves maintaining and repairing various types of production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentYou will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our equipment, contributing to the overall productivity of our operationsThis position offers weekly pay and a chance to work with a team of professionals dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and fix them before they escalate. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep machinery running smoothly and reduce the likelihood of future breakdowns. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in machinery and equipment. Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others during maintenance and repair activities. Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines to create a safe working environment. Work on electrical systems, mechanical systems, mills, laths, circuits, PLC, ABB, Fanuc, automation, and robotics. Document all maintenance and repair work for future reference and quality control purposes. Collaborate with other team members and departments to improve processes and achieve common goals. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance role within the manufacturing industry. Proven experience with preventive maintenance, equipment repair, troubleshooting, lockout/tagout procedures, and safety compliance. Solid understanding of electrical systems, mechanical systems, quality control, and technical documentation. Hands-on experience with components, mills, laths, circuits, PLC, ABB, Fanuc, automation, and robotics. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. High level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed. Must be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
